Charlotte Chauchet-Guillere (1878-1964)
A small bar made by the artist Chauchet, who was married with Rene Guilder, founder of the Societe des Artistes Decorateurs in Paris in 1901.
In 1913 Charlotte Chauchet became director of the Atelier d’Art “Primavera” in Paris.
This bar has been made of “macassar” with the typical black lines around the furniture. In the centre there is a decoration of abstract flowers made from ivory in the style of Jules Leleu.
